forest maternity session on the gorge | portland maternity photographer
After lots of researching and driving, I finally found this secret little spot known as the Skamania Stone House on the Columbia River Gorge! I tried on three previous trips to Oregon to find this location and was unsuccessful each time, as it hid away behind the growing forest and flower bushes. I knew once I found it though, that this was where Megan should have her maternity session! We met at a nearby park so she could ride with me to the house, since there was barely room for even my car. Her red dress stood out against the moss covered stone and evergreen trees. I couldn't believe she was already 36 weeks at the time of her session with me! As the sun started to set, we made our way to the open fields by Beacon Rock! I loved the way the green grass moved as she made her way through it. Even though it was summer the water was still very cool and she braved the colder temperatures to get some beautiful belly shots! Summer on the Gorge is always a favorite of mine and I cannot wait until I am back there again next summer!
