intimate forest maternity session | corpus christi photographer
Just like that, spring arrived in South Texas, even with it's fickle weather! The green grass grew tall next to the blossoming fields of wildflowers, as the sun peeked behind the gathering clouds. I met with Mikayla and her little babes in Goliad to explore the forests of the park! She would soon be welcoming her third baby and her littles were so loving as they talked to the baby and rubbed their momma's belly. I loved the way the bohemian dresses fell over her belly as we walked through the forest. Her littles picked dandelions every step of the way, blowing their seeds across the trails! Their time together was filled with sweet kisses, bigs hugs, and lots of belly love!
Even though the forest was cool and relaxing underneath the tree canopy, we could feel the storm rolling in beyond the hills, so we made our way to the field of flowers at the Goliad Mission before it was too late. Mikayla picked a blue and pink Fillyboo dress from my client wardrobe, because they were waiting until the birth to find out the baby's gender! It perfectly represented their wait! The flowers grew so high by the mission, with so many pretty colors, blue, pink, red, yellows. Her littles picked them for their momma and it was just the sweetest. Before it was time to say goodbye, they laid together in the colorful flowers, ran across the open fields, and admired the architecture of this old city!
