vintage wedding at cottages on mill creek | houston wedding photographer
Bri and Tim traveled from Arizona to Houston to say their vows in small intimate ceremony with 50 of their closest friends and family! They chose an amazing location at The Cottages on Mill Creek, with a couple cottages, barn, and little lake. It had all the style they wanted for their vintage inspired wedding! I loved getting to know them over the months prior to their wedding, as they were planning their big day on a tight budget. When I arrived, their friends and family helped setup their decor, place their florals, and decorated the archway. It was beautiful to see a piece of them in everything that made their days theirs!
Bri's boho bouquet was exactly what she had pictured and her dress was handmade from Bulgaria, only arriving only a week before their wedding date! Their first look was everything and more, a moment between the two of them that was just their own. As they said their vows, cheered in joyfulness after their first kiss, they took the time to take in the moment while I captured all their sweet happiness and love! As the sun set, they celebrated with their loved ones over dinner and cake, then rang in the 4th of July weekend with some fireworks. I stole them away before it was my time to leave, so they could have their first dance to their song Coming Home by Leon Bridges!
These intimate, free-spirited weddings have my heart! I adore the fact that Bri and Tim looked for an unvenue-venue, chose to have their closest people there, and decorated so beautifully while remaining true to themselves! They trusted my creative eye and gave me artistic freedom to capture their wedding that showed their beautiful connection and all the hard work put into it!
